Arctic research centre in Svalbard by Дмитрий (2009) Just when I thought Svalbard was a fictional place within The Golden Compass, a marvellous photo of the place is showcased on Dark Roasted Blend. his isn’t the most obviously futuristic of places to post about, however the cliff face is scarily reminiscent of the Department of Architecture plans for Extropia Odyssey. Perhaps on a day of particularly bad weather, we may see more settlements like this popping up. The outdoor light alone should be impressive enough, reminiscent as it is of the Shadowdraught viewer.
